About

A pharmacy on Broadfoot Avenue since 2016.

Two Rivers is locally owned. We compound, we serve long term care facilities, and we fill everyday prescriptions for our neighbors. The three sit in one building on purpose.

The pharmacist

Travin Deese, PharmD

Owner and pharmacist in charge. He grew up in Pembroke, graduated from UNC Pembroke in 2008, and finished pharmacy school at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy at UNC Chapel Hill in 2013. He opened Two Rivers in 2016.

He is the person who answers when you call about a formula, and the one who reads a compounded prescription back to you before it gets made.

How we work

What we will and will not do.

Most insurance
We accept most prescription plans. Bring your card and we will check it before you wait. Many compounded preparations are not covered by any plan, and when that is the case you will hear the cash price before we make anything.
USP 797 and 800
These are the standards for preparing sterile and hazardous medications: the air, the surfaces, the garbing, the testing, the documentation. We work to both.
503A only
Every preparation is made for a named patient against a prescription. We do not manufacture in bulk, we do not sell office stock, and we do not keep compounded inventory waiting for a buyer.
Licensed in North Carolina
Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy. We deliver locally and ship within the state.
We will say no
If a formula is not appropriate, or the evidence does not support it, or we cannot make it well, we will tell you that instead of taking the order.
The name

Why Two Rivers.

Fayetteville sits where water meets. Our mark is a mortar and pestle drawn out of that, and it is the idea the whole pharmacy runs on: chemistry exact to the milligram, and a person who picks up the phone. One without the other is not worth much.
